The Principality of Andorra is a small country (with some 468 km2) located in the Pyrenees, between Spain and France. Its capital is Andorra La Vella and, in total, it consists of seven parishes: Canillo, Encamp, Ordino, La Massana, Andorra la Vella, Sant Julià de Lòria and Escaldes-Engordany .

Andorra is a mountainous country , located in a region with rugged mountain peaks and beautiful valleys where innumerable water courses run. It has a average altitude close to 2,000 meters above sea level, and in total it has 65 peaks with an altitude of more than 2,500 meters. Its highest mountain is that of the Comapedrosa peak , with an altitude of 2,942 meters above sea level.
